Delta Air Lines is having a low-fare battle against local hub competitor AirTran Airways.  Both carriers are lowering fares on flights to/from Atlanta, GA.  The larger of the two carriers, Delta, has over 50 destinations on sale from Atlanta.  This includes Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Washington, D.C., and everything in between.  Round-trip fares start at $78 and are valid from now through November 11, 2009 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.  Tickets must be purchased at least 10-days in advance.  The booking deadline is May 12, 2009 at 11:59 PM ET.  See our favorite round-trip sample fares below:
