If you’re looking for a cheap ticket to Europe for this fall, you may want to consider Virgin Atlantic’s latest offer.  The U.K. based carrier is lowering fares on routes from major U.S. cities to London.  Round-trip flights start at $478 and are valid for travel from September 3 through October 21, 2009 (slightly higher fares are available from May 26 through September 2).  Valid departure cities include Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.  Tickets must be purchased at least 7-days prior to departure.
