AirTran Airways is lowering fares on many of their routes throughout the U.S. and Mexico.  Major destinations include Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Cancun, Mexico.  Round-trip flights start at $78 and are valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from now through October 30, 2009.  (Blackout dates apply — see AirTran’s website for details).  Tickets must be booked at least 10-days in advance.  The booking deadline is June 4, 2009 at 11:59 PM ET.  See our favorite round-trip sample fares below:
